MITSUBISHI HIFI PRINT

A hand-drawn, digitally finished fine art print of the Mitsubishi MC-8000.

A rare, futuristic vertical music centre released in 1980 which combined a linear-tracking vertical turntable, stereo receiver and cassette deck. Was marketed in Japan as the Diatone X-10.

THE PROCESS

•  I start with a 1:2-scale pencil drawing
•  This is then inked in using pigment fineliners
•  The hand-drawn ink is scanned
•  Up to 300 layers of detail and colour are added digitally
•  Prints, professionally produced on satin-finish photopaper using archival ink, will be available from spring 2027
