A hand-drawn, digitally finished fine art print of the Marantz ST-400L stereo tuner, SD-3000 cassette deck (both 1979-81) and PM-500 amplifier (1980-81).
A beautiful system from an era when hifi was designed to be seen as well as heard. Silver faces, oversized controls, graphic equaliser sliders and wonderfully intricate analogue detailing combine in a stack unmistakably of its time.
• I start with a 1:2-scale pencil drawing

• The hand-drawn ink is scanned
• Up to 300 layers of detail and colour are added digitally
• Prints, professionally produced on satin-finish photopaper using archival ink, will be available from spring 2027
